PT Megah Surya Pertiwi operates in the non-ferrous basic metal manufacturing industry on Obi Island, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province, under an Industrial Business License issued on August 27, 2018.
The company produces ferronickel, a raw material for stainless steel, using Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace (RKEF) technology. Currently, PT Megah Surya Pertiwi operates 4 RKEF production lines.
Harita Nickel holds a 50% ownership stake in PT Megah Surya Pertiwi.
PT Halmahera Jaya Feronikel ("HJF") is a subsidiary of the Company through PT Obira Mitra Jaya ("OMJ") which is engaged in the non-ferrous base metal manufacturing industry in South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. HJF has an Industrial Business License since 8 July 2020.
The Company’s share ownership through OMJ in HJF indirectly amounting 63.1%. HJF has 8 production lines with RKEF (Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace) technology that produces ferronickel products.
PT Karunia Permai Sentosa operates in the non-ferrous basic metal manufacturing industry on Obi Island, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. Currently, PT Karunia Permai Sentosa is in the construction phase.
The company will produce ferronickel, a raw material for stainless steel. KPS is projected to have 12 production lines with a capacity of 185,000 tons of nickel content in ferronickel per year.
Harita Nickel holds a 35% ownership stake in PT Karunia Permai Sentosa.
