<p><strong>Jakarta, 28 March 2024 -- </strong>PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) or Harita Nickel, a sustainable nickel mining and processing company, today announced its financial achievements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. Amid global challenges, such as the decline in nickel prices and macroeconomic uncertainty, Harita Nickel continued to record strong growth, driven by increased production and operational efficiency.</p>
<p>In 2023, the profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity was IDR 5.62 trillion, up from IDR 4.67 trillion the previous year, marking a 20% growth. This growth reflects effective operational management and stable growth amid a fluctuating market, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity reaching 170% since the 2020 fiscal year.
  </p>
<p>Moreover, overall in 2023, Harita Nickel recorded revenue of IDR 23.86 trillion, up by 149% from the previous year, and a gross profit of IDR 8.28 trillion, an increase of 77% compared to the previous year.
  </p>
<p>This growth was also driven by increased sales volumes from the nickel ore processing business, including the new smelter PT Halmahera Jaya Feronikel (HJF), a pyrometallurgical-based saprolite (high-grade nickel ore) smelting facility producing ferronickel, and additional production lines from <a href="https://hpalnickel.com/" target="_blank">PT Halmahera Persada Lygend (HPL),</a> a hydrometallurgical-based limonite (low-grade nickel ore) refining facility producing raw materials for electric vehicle batteries.   </p>
<p>From the mining business, Harita Nickel recorded increased nickel ore sales volume of 98%, reaching 15.38 million wmt (wet metric tons), compared to 7.77 million wmt in 2022. This volume consisted of 6.30 million wmt of saprolite, up 235% from 1.88 million wmt, and 9.08 million wmt of limonite, an increase of 54% from 5.89 million wmt.

<p>From the nickel processing business, in F23 Hartia Nickel also recorded a 300% increase in ferronickel production, from 25,372 tons in 2022 to 101,538 tons in 2023, and a 50% increase in MHP (mixed hydroxide precipitate) production, a raw material for electric vehicle batteries, from 42,310 tons in 2022 to 63,654 tons in 2023. This also reflects the company's strategic focus on expanding its production capabilities and strengthening its market position.

Amidst Uncertain Global Economy, Harita Nickel Continues to Grow and Perform Strongly in 2023

<p><strong>Jakarta, 15 March 2024 -&nbsp;</strong>In an ongoing effort to strengthen its financial position and to support its strategic growth,&nbsp;<a href="https://tbpnickel.com/" target="_blank">PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk</a> (NCKL) or Harita Nickel, a sustainable nickel mining and processing company, has successfully held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on March 15, 2024, at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta, Gandaria City Hotel. In the meeting, shareholders approved the second agenda proposed by management, namely a plan for a capital increase through a rights issue by providing pre-emptive rights ("<strong>Limited Public Offering</strong>"), where the minimum number of shares to be issued is 10%, and up to 30% at the maximum, of the company's currently issued and paid-up capital.</p>
<p>The Limited Public Offering will be executed within a maximum of 12 (twelve) months after obtaining approval in the EGMS, in compliance with applicable capital market regulations, including but not limited to approval from the capital market authority (if required) and the final plan related to the acquisition of shares in the target company.

<p>This limited public offering plan is a strategic step taken by Harita Nickel as part of its efforts to continue strengthening sustainable growth and business development. EGMS Agenda Approved, Harita Nickel Strengthens Foundation for Sustainable Growth and Expansion

<p><strong>South Halmahera, 19 December 2023</strong> - South Halmahera Regent Hasan Ali Basam Kasuba conducted a working visit to Kawasi Village, a village surrounding<a href="https://tbpnickel.com/" target="_blank">Harita Nickel's</a> sustainable integrated nickel mining and downstream operations on Obi Island, North Maluku, on Monday-Tuesday, 18-19 December 2023.   </p>
<p>Addressing hundreds of residents, the Regent said Kawasi was the first village on Obi Island he visited after his inauguration as regent three days ago. On that occasion, he expressed his admiration for the development of Kawasi Village. He never imagined that the village, which was once deserted, has now become a center of mining industry and the largest nickel processing plant in Indonesia.
  </p>
<p>Furthermore, the Regent encouraged that the presence of industry can have a positive impact on local communities. According to him, industrial development is an opportunity for local people to welcome a better future.
  </p>
<p>To optimize these opportunities, the number one person in Halsel asked people to improve their <a href="https://tbpnickel.com/id/sustainability/human-rights/we-and-the-community/education-programs" target="_blank">education</a> quality. With the required competencies, he added, local residents can occupy strategic positions in the company.
  </p>
<p>"Because this industry is around us, we must be able to contribute. But we must have the competencies needed so that our contribution is taken into account. The way to do this is through improving education," he said.
  </p>
<p>The Regent also conveyed a message to Harita Nickel management representatives who attended in the gathering with residents. He requested that the company continue to pay attention to community needs in its operational area.
  </p>
<p>"We ask the management of Harita Nickel to always pay attention to local residents, especially how local people can get access to education, health and a better future," he concluded.
  </p>
<p>During his visit, the Regent who was present with his administration extended Christmas greetings and welcomed the New Year. He also distributed 500 food packages and Christmas gifts to the residents.
  </p>
<p>Kawasi Village Head, Arifin Saroa, said the Regent's visit to his village was a special momentum. The reason is, the Regent who was just inaugurated three days ago has taken the time to visit Kawasi village.   </p>
<p>"We also want to thank Harita Nickel for supporting the village government program, including helping the implementation of this activity," he said.

<h2>Visiting the New Kawasi Settlement
  </h2>
<p>After meeting with residents, Regent Basam Kasuba continued his working visit to Harita Nickel's operational area which is also located in Kawasi Village. Accompanied by several agency heads, such as Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) and Village Community Empowerment (DPMD), the regent directly inspected the new settlement area of Kawasi Village, on Tuesday (19/12/2023).   </p>
<p><a href="https://tbpnickel.com/sustainability/human-rights/we-and-the-community/the-new-kawasi-settlement" target="_blank">The new settlement of Kawasi Village</a> is a local government program in collaboration with Harita Nickel to provide decent housing for local residents. The new settlement has been equipped with public facilities (fasum) such as village government offices, health service centers, school buildings, places of worship as well as access to clean water and 24-hour electricity.</p>
<p>After directly visiting the location, the regent expressed his appreciation to the company that has prepared housing and public facilities for the residents. According to him, its facilities are very complete and its condition is much more decent than the old settlement. The Regent also asked the company to immediately hand over the facilities to the local government so that all the facilities in the new settlement can be utilized by the residents.
  </p>
<p>" We will start moving public facilities such as village government services, schools, and health services here. Some have already been done, such as junior and senior high schools," he explained, witnessed by representatives of company management and the local village government.
  </p>
<p>For information, some residents of Kawasi Village have already moved into the new settlement. From 259 housing units that are ready for occupancy, at least 50 houses have been occupied by residents. Not only that, the village government has also started its office there. Since last September, learning activities for junior and senior high school students have also been moved to the new settlement.

3 Days inaugurated as Regent, Basam Kasuba visits Village around Harita Nickel Operations

<p><strong>Jakarta, 30 November 2023</strong> – Despite the challenging world nickel market conditions, PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk., or Harita Nickel and its subsidiaries ("Company") (ticker code: NCKL), managed to record a high increase in Sales and Profit Attributable to Owners of the Parent Company in the first nine months of 2023.</p><p>NCKL is an integrated nickel mining and downstream Company that has upstream and downstream capabilities on Obi Island, South Halmahera North Maluku. In the 9M 2023 period, NCKL posted Sales of IDR 17.3 trillion, up 135% compared to IDR 7.4 trillion in the 9M 2022 period. Apart from that, the Company was also able to record and increased in Profit Attributable to Owners of the Parent Company of 24% to IDR 4.5 trillion from IDR 3.6 trillion in the previous period.</p><p>The significant increase in sales is the result of the Company's efforts to continuously expand production capacity from mining business line, High Pressure Acid Leach ("HPAL") refinery production and the Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace ("RKEF") smelter production line in the last 2 years.</p><p>An additional Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (“MHP”) production line with a capacity of 18,000 tons contained nickel/year which has been completed by one of the Company's subsidiaries, namely PT Halmahera Persada Lygend (PT HPL), has successfully carried out commercial production since early 2023 and managed to reach full production capacity in just 2 months. So, the total installed capacity of the three production lines owned by PT HPL currently has an installed capacity of 55,000 tons contained nickel/year.</p><p>Apart from that, another subsidiary, namely PT Harita Jayaraya Feronikel (PT HJF), which has eight production lines, has also been operating in stages since the beginning of 2023 and since August 2023, all of PT HJF's production lines have been running at full capacity. PT HJF has a Ferronickel production capacity of up to 95,000 tons contained nickel/year.&nbsp;</p><p>From the mining business, the Company recorded a significant increase in nickel ore production to meet additional demand due to an increase in production capacity from both PT HPL and PT HJF. During the 9M 2023 period, NCKL's mining subsidiary has produced around 10 million nickel limonite ores and 4.4 million nickel saprolite ores.</p><p><img alt="Produksi tambang" src="https://apiharitanikel.dipstrategy.co.id/storage/images/old/news_assets/produksi-tambang.png" style="display: block; margin: auto;" title="Produksi tambang"></p><p>From the HPAL refinery production line, since the addition of one production line, the Company recorded an increase in MHP production of 49% compared to the previous year's period, namely to 46,891 tons contained nickel. Some of the MHP products that are produced are converted into Nickel Sulfate and Cobalt Sulfate, which are the main raw materials for making ternary precursors, which are needed in making nickel-based electric vehicle batteries. During the first nine months of 2023, the Company through its subsidiaries has produced 9,287 tons of Nickel Sulfate and 818 tons of Cobalt Sulfate.</p><p><img alt="Produksi refinery hpal" src="https://apiharitanikel.dipstrategy.co.id/storage/images/old/news_assets/produksi-refinery-hpal.png" style="display: block; margin: auto;" title="Produksi refinery hpal"></p><p>From the RKEF smelter production line, the Company through its 2 subsidiaries, namely PT HJF and PT MSP, succeeded in recording total Ferronickel production in the first nine months of 2023 of 68,994 tons contained nickel or an increase of 268% from the previous year. In the 9M23 period, PT HJF recorded a ferronickel production volume of 47,963 tons contained nickel. Meanwhile, PT Megah Surya Pertiwi ("MSP") posted a production volume of 21,031 tons contained nickel in the nine months of 2023.</p><p><img alt="Produksi smelter rkef" src="https://apiharitanikel.dipstrategy.co.id/storage/images/old/news_assets/produksi-smelter-rkef.png" style="display: block; margin: auto;" title="Produksi smelter rkef"></p><p>From financial aspect, even though market conditions were full of challenges due to the decline in nickel prices on the world market, the Company managed to record a gross profit of IDR 6.1 trillion, or an increase of 63% compared to IDR 3.8 trillion in the first nine months of 2022. By continuing to innovate and be efficient in the Company's operations, Operating Profit increased by 59% to IDR 5.4 trillion from IDR 3.4 trillion in the first nine months of the previous year. Meanwhile, Profit for the current period even increased by 60% to IDR 5.7 trillion from IDR 3.5 trillion for the same period in the previous year.</p><p>The Company was also able to record Net Profit for the owners of the parent entity of IDR 1.7 trillion in the third quarter of 2023, up 25% compared to IDR 1.5 trillion for the same period in the previous year. In the first nine months of 2023, the Company recorded a net profit for owners of the parent entity of IDR 4.5 trillion or an increase of 24% compared to the same period last year.&nbsp;</p><p>With the continued development of the electric vehicle industry globally and the Government's plans to become one of the largest electric car battery producers in the world, the Company, with the spirit of "from Obi for Indonesia", is committed to continuing to invest and build production facilities that can increase volume and added value from the products that are produced by the Company.&nbsp;</p><p>Currently, the Company is carrying out further expansion by building a second HPAL facility through a subsidiary, namely PT Obi Nickel Cobalt (ONC), which is targeted to have 3 (three) production lines with a production capacity of 65,000 tons contained nickel/year MHP and is expected to operate in stages starting in the second quarter of 2024.</p><p>The Company is also planning further expansion for the RKEF production line through an associated entity, namely PT Karunia Permai Sentosa (KPS), which is targeted to have 12 production lines with a production capacity of 185,000 tons contained nickel/year (ferronickel) and is expected to operate in stages starting in the second semester of 2025.&nbsp;</p><p>In terms of sustainability, the Company will continue to be committed to carrying out sustainable integration in business processes, involvement and development of local communities, and the environment. The Company will also continue to carry out consultations and discussions with relevant Stakeholders and Customers regarding the implementation of ESG standards and certification that will be implemented in the industry.&nbsp;</p><br><br><br><br><br><br>

​NCKL Succesfully Recorded an Increase in Sales and Profit Attributable to Owners of the Parent Company in a Challenging Market Conditions   ​

<p><strong>Jakarta, </strong><strong>30</strong> <strong>November</strong><strong> 2023</strong><strong> – </strong><a href="https://tbpnickel.com/" target="_blank">Harita Nickel</a>, the largest integrated nickel company in Indonesia, acquired 99% of the shares in <a href="https://tbpnickel.com/about-us/subsidiaries/mining" target="_blank">PT Gane Tambang Sentosa (“GTS”)</a> located on Obi Island, South Halmahera, North Maluku. This acquisition with a transaction value of IDR 7.9 billion will increase nickel ore resources and reserves to 302 million wmt, making Harita Nickel the 5th largest nickel mining company in Indonesia based on resources.</p>
<p>PT GTS has a non-operating nickel mining concession with an area of 2,314 hectares with an IUP valid until 2040. The Company plans to carry out drilling activities to determine the size of nickel ore reserves and resources.</p>
<p>At the same time, Harita Nickel also increased its share ownership in PT Gane Permai Sentosa ("GPS") from 70% to 99%. Apart from being able to increase the Company's nickel ore resources and reserves, this acquisition worth IDR 48.8 billion is expected to strengthen the financial contribution to the Company.</p>
<p>At the end of November 2023, the Company has estimated nickel ore reserves of around 302 million wmt. By carrying out further exploration at the 4 mines owned, namely PT Obi Anugerah Mineral, PT Jikodolong Mega Pertiwi, PT Karya Tambang Sentosa, and PT Gane Tambang Sentosa, the nickel ore reserves needed by the Harita Nickel subsidiary will increase.</p>
<p>PT GTS and PT GPS are affiliated companies of Harita Nickel. The acquisition transaction has been carried out transparently in accordance with the assessment of the appointed independent institution from KJPP.

Harita Nickel Will Become the 5th Largest Nickel Mining Company in Indonesia After Acquiring PT Gane Tambang Sentosa

<p><strong>Ternate, November 30, 2023</strong> – PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL), a sustainable integrated mining and downstream company, or Harita Nickel, has been honored as the Best Regional Economic and Financial Assessment Strategic Partner in North Maluku Province by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office in North Maluku. A total of 12 prestigious awards were presented to these highly dedicated strategic partners by BI North Maluku during Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting (PTBI) 2023 at Bela Hotel Ternate, North Maluku, on Thursday (30/11).</p>
<p>Strategic partners from the government, banking, corporations, and individuals are recognized for their high dedication in supporting Bank Indonesia's tasks in the areas of monetary, payment systems, SME development, Islamic economics, and policy support. Together with Bank Indonesia, they have contributed their best to every aspect of Indonesia's significance.
</p>
<p>PTBI has been held regularly since 1969 with the main agenda of presenting Bank Indonesia's views on the economic conditions, challenges faced, and the direction of future policies, as well as to provide guidance on the government's future policies. This year, PTBI adopts the theme "Synergy Strengthening National Economic Resilience and Revival." In attendance at PTBI 2023 were the Governor of North Maluku, Abdul Gani Kasuba, the leaders of Forkopimda in North Maluku Province, and the leaders of the banking sector in North Maluku.

<p>In his presentation, Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office in North Maluku, R. Eko Adi Irianto, conveyed that North Maluku is recorded as the province with the highest economic growth in Indonesia. The economic growth of North Maluku in the third quarter of 2023 reached 25.13% (YoY), supported by the performance of the processing industry and mining.
</p>
<p>"North Maluku has successfully produced processed nickel products such as ferronickel, Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP), and nickel matte. In addition, there is a smelter unit in South Halmahera that has recently undergone further downstreaming in the EV battery industry, namely the conversion from MHP to nickel sulfate and cobalt sulfate. This has also contributed to the increase in the value of nickel downstreaming commodities," stated Eko.

<p>It is not surprising that Eko is optimistic and estimates that the economic growth of North Maluku for the entire year 2023 will be in the range of 20.12% - 24.12% (YoY).

<p>On the same occasion, Eko also congratulated Harita Nickel, saying, "Harita Nickel has been instrumental in providing us with the latest information, especially regarding the development of the nickel processing industry, which is a flagship and priority for economic growth by the central government.
