<p><strong>Labuha, 30 October 2023</strong> - PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) or Harita Nickel, a sustainable integrated mining and downstream company, in cooperation with Youth Organizations (YO), conducted a beach clean-up activity at the Millennial MSME site in Tembal Village, South Bacan District, South Halmahera Regency, on Saturday (28/10/23) to commemorate the 95th Youth Pledge Day.<br></p>
<p>The beach clean-up in Tembal Village was initiated by Harita Nickel's Non-Governmental Organizations Relations (NGR) Department under the theme "Spread Goodness", which means to leave a trail of goodness in every inch of the land you walk on. In this event, Harita Nickel's NGR Department involved 106 participants consisting of leaders and members from various NGOs or civil society organizations in South Halmahera Regency, such as Pemuda Pancasila (PP), Muhammadiyah Youth Association (IMM), Indonesian Christian Youth Movement (GAMKI), Indonesian Christian Students Movement (GMKI), Muslim Students Association (HMI), Indonesian Islamic Students Movement (PMII), Indonesian Muslim Students Unity Action (KAMMI), Indonesian National Students Movement (GMNI), and students from Alhairat Labuha.</p>
<p>Zulkifli Sangaji, Harita Nickel's South Halmahera NGR Supervisor, said in his speech that the beach clean-up was part of Harita Nickel's commitment to preserve the ecosystem and environment around the community, not only in the mining area but also in the capital of South Halmahera Regency.</p>
<p>"Today, we are cleaning the waste at the Millennial MSME site and also the coastline right behind the Millennial MSME site. Our main consideration in choosing this location is that Millennial MSME is a culinary tourism spot for the local community of South Halmahera as well as visitors from outside South Halmahera, so it is necessary for us to maintain its cleanliness. On this occasion, we also invite the community to work together to maintain cleanliness to create a good environment," Zulkifli said.</p>
<p>Zulkifli also added that the beach clean-up activity with youth organizations successfully collected about one ton of waste, which was then transported and distributed to waste disposal sites.</p>
<p>Samsul Abubakar, the head of the South Halmahera Environmental Department (DLH), who was also present at the beach clean-up, appreciated the steps taken by Harita Nickel.</p>
<p>"This is a very positive activity. We, as the South Halmahera Regency Government, thank Harita Nickel for participating in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the environment around the community. This cooperation needs to be maintained and strengthened, and should involve more elements of the community," said the South Halmahera DLH chief.</p>

<p><strong>Ternate, October 10, 2023 </strong>- Sustainable integrated mining and downstream company, PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) or Harita Nickel, has once again received a prestigious award in the field of social and environment. This time the award was presented at the KATAM Mining Awards 2023 held on Tuesday (10/23) at the Royal Resto Ball Room, Ternate.</p><p>At the event organized by the North Maluku Advocacy Consortium (KATAM), Harita Nickel received an award in the category of "Commitment to Promote Community Development and Empowerment Programs (CDE) in North Maluku Province". The award was presented by the coordinator of KATAM Malut, Muhlis Ibrahim, and received by Harita Nickel's Corporate Communications Manager, Anie Rahmi.</p><p>Anie Rahmi said that this award was the result of a collaborative effort to prioritize community development and empowerment in all of the company's operational activities, especially in Obi Island, South Halmahera.</p><p>"Hopefully, we can continue to maintain and improve this achievement. This is a tribute to the extended Harita Group family, which continues to carry out community development and empowerment programs, especially in fostering small and medium enterprises," said Anie.</p>
<p>In addition to the SME mentoring program, Harita Nickel also has a program called the Basic Infrastructure Fulfillment for Obi's Welfare (Pijar Obi). This program aims to provide electricity access to the homes of residents and other public facilities in the villages of Kawasi and Tabuji, Obi Island, South Halmahera.</p>
<p>"This program also provides many benefits to the surrounding residents, including supporting children's education to be carried out without hindrance due to the limitations of illumination," Anie added.</p><p>The Coordinator of North Maluku KATAM, Muhlis Ibrahim, also conveyed the assessment and considerations behind the selection of Harita Nickel as the recipient of this award. One of the considerations is that the Community Development and Empowerment Program (CDE) implemented by Harita Nickel was deemed to be well-integrated with various excellent concepts and innovations.<br></p>
<p>"We have seen several concepts that are being implemented very effectively in the community, including the Community Entrepreneurship Unit program (Kawasi Unik), the Movement for Self-Reliance and Strengthening the Capacity of Village Business Actors (Gemar Papeda), and the Pijar Obi program. Therefore, the community development and empowerment programs carried out by Harita Nickel are very measurable and targeted, which is the main reason for us to award Harita Nickel," concluded Muhlis.</p><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Ternate, October 5, 2023</strong> - Sustainable integrated mining and downstream company PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) or Harita Nickel officially handed over an ambulance to Khairun State University (Unkhair) in Ternate to help improve and accelerate public health services in the surrounding community. The handover ceremony took place in the courtyard of the Unkhair campus on Thursday (23/05/10) and was presented by the Head of Community Affairs at Harita Nickel, Latif Supriadi, to the Rector of Unkhair, Dr. M. Ridha Ajam, M.Hum.<br></p>
<p>After handing over the ambulance, Harita Nickel's Head of Community Affairs, Latif Supriadi, stated that this aid was handed over to Unkhair as a form of the company's concern to fulfill Harita Nickel's commitment to Environmental and Social Responsibility (ESR) through the Community Development and Empowerment Program (CDE) in the field of health.</p>
<p>Harita Nickel's Head of Community Affairs, Latif Supriadi, said, "The handover of this aid is evidence of the strong synergy and support between Harita Nickel and Unkhair in the field of health. The addition of this state-of-the-art ambulance unit is expected to improve the accessibility and speed of health services to students and the community in need, especially in emergency situations."</p>
<p>Echoing Latif's sentiments, the Rector of Khairun University Ternate, Dr. M. Ridha Ajam, M.Hum. said, "This is Harita Nickel's commitment to the world of education, as currently Khairun University already has a Faculty of Medicine and also a clinic, namely the Unkhair Primary Clinic. <p>Considering the challenges faced by Unkhair in the past due to the limited number of ambulances, the former Vice Rector III of Unkhair also didn't forget to express his appreciation to Harita Nickel for the assistance provided by the ambulance.</p>
<p>Throughout the year 2023, Harita Nickel has also implemented other forms of ESR to support the improvement of healthcare services, including the donation of a sea ambulance unit to the Obi Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in March. Continuing the Support for Health Service Improvement, Harita Nickel Donates an Ambulance to Khairun University.

<p><b>Jakarta, August 2, 2023 -&nbsp;</b>Trimegah Bangun&nbsp;Persada Tbk and its subsidiaries&nbsp;(Stock code: NCKL), an integrated nickel mining and processing company with upstream and downstream capabilities on Obi Island, South Halmahera,&nbsp;North&nbsp;Maluku, recorded sales of Rp 10.2 trillion in the first semester of 2023, an increase of 89% compared to Rp 5.4 trillion in the first semester of 2022.</p><p>The significant increase in sales is the result of the company's efforts to continuously expand and improve the production capacity of both the High-Pressure Acid Leach (HPAL) and Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace (RKEF) production lines. From the HPAL production line, the company recorded an increase in sales of Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP) from 19,588 metric tons of nickel content in the first half of 2022 to 23,969 metric tons of nickel content in the first half of 2023, representing a growth of 22%. The company also achieved an increase in ferronickel sales volume to 37,756 tons of nickel content in the first half of 2023, a significant increase of 171% compared to 13,910 tons of nickel content in the first half of 2022.<br></p><p>The company has also made history as the first and largest (in terms of production capacity) company in Indonesia and the world to successfully process MHP into other derivative products such as Nickel Sulfate and Cobalt Sulfate. These are essential raw materials for the production of ternary precursors used in the manufacture of nickel-based electric vehicle batteries. The nickel sulfate plant is in commercial production with a capacity of 240,000 tons of nickel sulfate per year, while the cobalt sulfate plant is in production testing. The Company achieved its first export of 5,800 tons of nickel sulfate at the end of the first half of 2023.</p>
<p>Despite the global decline in nickel prices since the end of 2022, the Company achieved a gross profit of Rp 3.5 trillion, an increase of 17% compared to Rp 3.0 trillion in the first half of 2022. Operating profit also increased by 13% to Rp 3.07 trillion from Rp 2.71 trillion in the first half of 2022. Meanwhile, net profit increased by 2% to Rp 3.21 trillion from Rp 3.16 trillion in the first half of 2022.</p><p>In the second quarter of 2023, the company recorded a net profit attributable to the parent company of Rp 1.38 trillion, an increase from Rp 1.37 trillion in the first quarter of 2023. In the first half of 2023, the company recorded a net profit attributable to the parent entity of Rp 2.75 trillion.</p>
<p>In terms of production, the company targets to produce 50,000 - 52,000 tons of nickel content for MHP products and 90,000 tons of nickel content for ferronickel products in 2023. The company also plans to convert some of the MHP products to nickel sulfate and cobalt sulfate in 2023.</p>
<p>With the growing global electric vehicle industry and the government's plan to become one of the world's largest electric vehicle battery producers, the company is committed to continue investing and building production facilities that can increase the volume and value of its products in the spirit of "From Obi for Indonesia".</p><p>As a result, the company is in the process of further expansion through the construction of a second High-Pressure Acid Leach (HPAL) refining facility through its subsidiary PT Obi Nickel Cobalt (ONC). The new facility is expected to have 3 production lines with a production capacity of 65,000 metric tons MHP per year and is expected to be operating in the first half of 2024.</p>
<p>The company also plans to further expand the Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace (RKEF) production line through its affiliate PT Karunia Permai Sentosa (KPS). This expansion is targeted to have 12 production lines with a production capacity of 185,000 tons of nickel content (ferronickel) per year and is expected to be phased in from the second half of 2025. The company is also planning a stainless steel project where part of the ferronickel produced by the company and its subsidiary in the RKEF sector will be processed into stainless steel products.</p><p>In terms of&nbsp;sustainability, the company will continue to be committed to sustainable integration into its business processes, local community involvement and development, and environmental concerns. The company will also continue to engage in consultations and discussions with stakeholders and customers regarding the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards and certifications within the industry.</p><p><br></p>

<p>SOUTH HALMAHERA, 29 June 2023&nbsp; – PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL), also known as Harita Nickel, distributed 31 cows and 3 goats in order to celebrate Eid al-Adha 1444 H / 2023 AD.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Head of Community Affairs Harita Nickel, Latif Supriadi said that distribution of sacrificial animals is routinely carried out every year as a manifestation of gratitude and concern for Harita Nickel to local communities around its operations.</p>
<p>"Through this Eid al-Adha celebration, it is hoped that people especially around the company's operations can directly benefit from Harita Nickel's operations and strengthen ties between company and community," said Latif, Thursday (29/6/2023&nbsp;</p>

<p>He explained, the entire sacrificial animal donation had been distributed prior to Eid al-Adha 1444 H which falls today, Thursday, June 29, 2023.&nbsp;</p>
<p>From a total of 34 sacrificial animals, most of them were distributed to villages around Harita Nickel's operations in Obi Island. A total of 18 villages across three sub-districts in Obi Island, each received one cow.</p>
<p>"The sacrificial animals were handed over directly to Imams as Islamic religious leaders in each village, witnessed by local village government officials," he explained.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, 16 other sacrificial animals were distributed to several areas, i.e.:&nbsp; Bacan Subdistrict in South Halmahera Regency, Ternate City in North Maluku and also around Harita Nickel's office in Jakarta.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Animal distribution was carried out by cooperating with a number of company partners, from government agencies, student organizations to media organizations. Some of the animals were also distributed through mosques and foundations.</p>
<p>Harita Nickel's concern for the community, especially in Obi Island, received appreciation from both government and local religious leaders.</p>
<p>Obi Sub-district Head, represented by Secretary Risno Tjia, in his speech on sacrificial animal ceremony in his area which was concentrated in Laiwui Village, expressed his gratitude to Harita Nickel. He encouraged that well established cooperation between company and community can continue to be improved.</p>
<p>"We thank you for the donation provided by Harita Nickel for all village communities in Obi Subdistrict. We hope this sacrificial animal donation can be useful for residents who are entitled to receive and need it," Risno said.</p>
<p>The same appreciation was also conveyed by the village government and religious leaders in South Obi Subdistrict. Gambaru Village Head, through Village Secretary Imanuel Sousa, said that sacrificial animal donation delivered by Harita Nickel is a manifestation of the company's concern for local people in Obi Island.</p>
<p>"On behalf of village government and the entire Gambaru village community, we support company operations. We hope that the company's presence will be able to support village government programs to improve people's welfare here," he said, agreed by Gambaru Village Imam, Guntur Flori.</p>

Celebrate Eid al-Adha 1444 H, Harita Nickel Distribute 31 Cows and 3 Goats Qurbani

<p><strong>Jakarta, June 16<sup>th</sup>, 2023</strong> - PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL), through its associated entity, PT Halmahera Persada Lygend (PT HPL), officially made its initial export of nickel sulphate today, Friday, June 16<sup>th</sup>, 2023. A total of 5,584 tons of nickel sulphate, packaged in 290 containers, is ready to be shipped to one of NCKL's business partners in China. This marks a significant milestone for NCKL in the nickel downstream business.</p>
<p>The refined nickel sulphate on Obi Island, South Halmahera, North Maluku Province, will be used in the production of high-nickel lithium batteries. The use of these lithium batteries is expected to continue to rise in the future, particularly in the electric vehicle industry.
  </p>
<p>NCKL's President Director, Roy A. Arfandy, stated that the total shipment of nickel sulphate is targeted to reach 240,000 tons per year, in line with the factory's production capacity. The company is also currently in the trial production phase of cobalt sulphate. “Moving forward, the company will strive to send approximately four ships to meet the targeted demand for nickel sulphate production,” said Roy.

<p>Roy also expressed his appreciation for the achievement of this initial nickel sulphate shipment. “This is the work of us in Eastern Indonesia, which is an important step for Indonesia to become a key player in the electric vehicle battery industry in the future, as well as a new contributor to the export of downstream nickel products that can drive regional and national economies.”

<p>PT Halmahera Persada Lygend recently inaugurated the operation of the first nickel sulphate plant in Indonesia, also the largest in the world in terms of production capacity, on May 31<sup>st</sup>. This historic moment was attended and inaugurated by the Deputy for Investment and Mining Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Septian Hario Seto.

<p>In his speech last May, Seto conveyed that this achievement is impressive and extraordinary, demonstrating how local and foreign investors can collaborate effectively. “The mining and downstream operations carried out by NCKL are among the best. This was revealed by international consultants who can certify the mining and production processes,” said Seto. It is known that Seto's visit to the Obi Island site operated by NCKL at the end of May was accompanied by Benchmark Mineral Intelligence (BMI) consultants.

<p>Currently, NCKL continues to strive to enhance the nickel resource industry value chain by producing cobalt sulphate. Alongside nickel sulphate, this concentrate is a crucial element in the formation of cathode precursors for electric vehicle batteries. “Being a manufacturing company of new energy materials that prioritizes environmental management, community empowerment, and contributes to the development of the industry is our medium-term target,” concluded Roy.
